…though not quite as epically as British weather fails. I haven’t updated here in a while, I was supposed to be maintaining a healthy once a day but hai hoo, these things happen. So, wee updates on my life since I last updated…sweet sod all.
I did a couple of shifts at Elland Road just last week, both pretty standard and had fun eating all the food I could….working too, of course. Helped Leon move into his new house over in Huddersfield, and standardly lost my wallet twice (of which one time I found it in KFC opposite the house..).
I geeked out majorly over DEXTER with Leon - the final episode of Season 6 is yet to be watched by me, I need to get on this…
I was informed just yesterday (Friday 7th) that I’ll be teaching in Lycée César Baggio/Lycée Professionnel Francisco Ferres next year. VERY exciting, I’m just waiting now to hear back about things like accommodation, although my kind Father has offered to take me over to Lille at some point over Summer to look around, get my bearings and maybe look for accommodation if I can’t get any given by the lycée(s).
Seeing Shona tomorrow for a spot of lunch and a catch up, then Monday and Tuesday I’ll hopefully be working if there are shifts…Wednesday I’m seeing Leon for Yo! Sushi (my first time!) and on to see the new Spiderman film.
La vie n’est pas trop mauvaise en ce moment. :)
